This recipe for “Shrimp DeJonge” is one of our many favorites. Simple to make and rich in flavor. This hot shrimp appetizer is coated with a cheesy garlic breading. Can be served as an appetizer or over pasta for a satisfying meal.

Incredible Baked Clams

Prep Time= 10 minutes | Cook Time= 15-20 minutes


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Clean and loosen clams from shell.  Combine equal parts Cugino’s Garlic Bread Spread with plain Italian bread crumbs and a splash of white cooking wine.  Spread mixture generously over clams and bake 15-20 minutes.  Squeeze on fresh lemon juice and serve.  “As good as it gets!”



Fabulous Cheesy Garlic Crusted Fish

Prep Time= 10 minutes | Cook Time= 20 minutes


We suggest using a filet of Tilapia or Orange Roughy.  Place fish on a foil covered tray and spread Cugino’s Garlic Cheese Spread over the entire top side of fish.  Sprinkle generously with plain Italian bread crumbs or Panko crumbs and broil on 2nd rack from top for about 20 minutes or until cooked tender and golden bubbly brown.  Squeeze on fresh lemon juice and serve. “Fantastically Fabulous!”



Mouth-Watering Shrimp Alfredo

Serves 3-4

Mix 1/2 jar (8 oz) of Cugino’s Garlic Cheese Spread with equal parts milk in sauce pan on medium heat. Whisk in 3 to 4 tbsp of flour to hold mixture together.  When sauce is completely melted and bubbly, add in approximately 12-14 medium sized cleaned and deveined fresh shrimp.  Cook about 8-10 minutes until shrimp is tenderly firm.  Pour over fresh aldente linguine or fettuccine.  Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley. “A rich and creamy delight!”







Soup Recipes



Roasted Chicken Enchilada

Prep Time= 15 minutes | Cook Time= 2+ hours




Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Clean chicken and remove giblets. Place whole chicken in a roasting pan. Surround in cut vegetables of choice.

In a separate bowl, combine soup mix, tomato sauce and water. Pour over chicken into roasting pan. Roast at 350 degrees for one and a half to two hours or until chicken is cooked thoroughly and vegetables are soft. Occasionally baste top of chicken with soup gravy. Enjoy!



French Onion Green Bean Casserole

Prep Time= 10 minutes | Cook Time= 30 minutes






Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a 9 x 13 baking dish, combine green beans and French fried crispy onions. In a separate bowl, mix Cugino’s Baked Burgundy French Onion Soup with heavy whipping cream. Pour over green beans. Bake for 30 minutes if canned beans are used, 40 minutes if frozen. Delicious creamy flavor in every bite.



Over the Top Pot Roast

Prep Time= 15 minutes | Cook Time= 2 1/2+ hours

  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1- 3lb boneless chuck roast, trimmed
  • 1/3 pkg Cugino’s Garlic Butter Bud Buster Rubz
  • 1/3 pkg (1/4 cups) Cugino’s Baked Burgundy French Onion Soup
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups coarsely chopped onion
  • 3/4 cups dry red wine
  • 4 fresh thyme sprigs (or 1/2 tsp dry thyme)
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 bay leafs
  • 6 large carrots, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 6 Yukon Gold Potatoes, peeled and cut into 2-inch pieces


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Heat olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.  Coat chuck roast generously with Cugino’s Garlic Butter Bud Buster Rubz mix and add roast to pan.  Cook 5 minutes, turning to brown on all sides.  Remove roast from pan.  Add onion to pan and sauté for 8 minutes or until well browned.  Add in 2 cups water and 1/3 pkg of Cugino’s Baked Burgundy French Onion Soup mix, then return browned roast to pan.  Add the red wine, thyme sprigs, chopped garlic, and bay leaf to pan; bring to a simmer.  Cover pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until the roast is almost tender.  Add carrots and potatoes to pan.  Cover and bake an additional 1 hour or until vegetables are tender.  Remove thyme sprigs and bay leaf from pan; discard.  Serve roast with vegetable mixture and cooking liquid.  Garnish with thyme leaves if desired, and serve with a fresh loaf of Italian or French bread & butter.

Variation Suggestion: Add fresh sliced mushrooms when sautéing onions.




Swedish Meatballs

Prep Time= 15 minutes | Cook Time= 30 minutes

  • 1 Cugino’s Baked Burgundy French Onion Soup
  • 1 lb. ground beef (can use ground sirloin, round, or ground turkey if desired)
  • 2 cloves of garlic (chopped)
  • 1/2 small onion cut in very thin slices.
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup of plain bread crumbs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tbsp corn starch


In a bowl, mix ground meat with 1 egg, Add bread crumbs and chopped garlic. In a separate sauce pan, combine soup mix, water, onion and corn starch. Bring to boil and lower temperature to simmer approx. 15 minutes. Heat olive oil in a frying pan and add small meatballs formed from the meat mixture. Turn meatballs in pan until all sides are browned. Once meatballs are cooked, drain grease from pan and return to low heat adding the gravy from the saucepan. Cook an additional ten minutes together. Serve over egg noodle pasta or mashed potatoes!!!



Cheesy Enchilada Pot Roast:

Prep Time= 15 minutes | Cook Time= 2+ hours




  • 1 Cugino’s Chicken Enchilada Soup
  • 2 lbs. beef chuck, cubed
  • 4 cups stew vegetables (carrots, celery, potatoes, etc.)
  • 2 cups frozen corn
  • 1+ cups water
  • 1- 26 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1- 16 oz shredded cheddar cheese





In a large Dutch oven, brown meat in 2 Tbsp. of olive oil.  Add in diced tomatoes, water (to desired consistency), and soup mix.  Add stew vegetables and corn, cover and simmer on medium-low, stirring occasionally for 90 minutes or until beef begins to become tender. Continue simmering until beef is tender and vegetables are cooked through.  Garnish with grated cheddar cheese and serve with warm tortillas!

Note: All ingredients can be combined at one time and cooked in a crock-pot as well! Save the shredded cheddar to top for garnish.







Dipz Recipes




Taco Schmaco Hot Appetizer Dip


  • 1 package of Cugino’s Taco Schmaco Dipz
  • 1 cup (8oz) of sour cream
  • 1- 8oz cream cheese
  • 1 can Rotel (drained well-could use diced tomatoes & chiles)
  • 1 can of corn (drained)
  • 1- 16oz can black beans (drained)
  • 1- 1/2 cup shredded cheese


Mix all ingredients except half a cup of shredded cheese. Put into casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 25 min. Last 5 minutes sprinkle cheese on the top and finish baking. Serve with tortilla chips.



Homemade Zesty Salsa!


  • 1 can of petite diced tomatos (15 oz)
  • Cugino’s Tomato Lime Salsa Dipz mix (can use less than whole package if desired)
  • Optional Ingredients: 1 small diced onion, fresh chopped cilantro, 1 clove chopped garlic



Put diced tomatoes in serving bowl, stir in half of dip mix and taste, add up to entire packet if desired.  We recommend adding the optional ingredients to taste. Serve with tortilla chips.



Dill-icious Chicken Pasta Salad


  • 1 lb small sized pasta (shells, spirals, penne, etc.)
  • 1 Cugino’s Silly Dilly Dipz mix
  • 1 cup diced cooked chicken
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2-3 cups raw sliced fresh veggies (peppers, onion, tomatoes, black olives, etc.)


Cook your favorite small sized pasta and set aside.  Mix together Cugino’s Silly Dilly Dipz mix with the sour cream, mayonnaise, cooked chicken and raw veggies.  Stir in the pasta and refrigerate before serving.



Creamy Salad Dressing




Any of our dip recipes will make a delicious creamy salad dressing.  Simply add a package of your choice Dipz mix to 1 cup of buttermilk and 1 cup of mayonnaise.  Stir well and serve on top your favorite salad ingredients.  Delicious!







Rubz Recipes



Garlic Butter Baked Chicken





Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl whisk together milk and eggs. In a second bowl toss together package of Rubz with 1-cup plain breadcrumbs. Dip each piece of chicken in egg mixture, then coat with garlic butter rub and breadcrumb mixture. Place chicken pieces in a large nonstick roasting pan and bake for 45 minutes to an hour or until the juices run clear. Serve over a bed of your favorite pasta or with mashed potatoes.



Mar-Garlica Lime Steak Tacos





Rub steaks with and onion slices with a small amount of olive oil, and generously coat with RUBZ! Grill to desired degree of doneness. Slice skirt steaks against the grain into ½” slices and serve in warmed flour tortillas. Garnish with diced tomatoes, a dollop of sour cream and a slice of avocado.



Panko Crusted Garlic Butter Tilapia





Preheat oven to 375.  Place pieces of tilapia on a foil covered baking pan.  Mix Rubz (approx. 1 Tbsp. per piece) and Panko Crumbs (same amount as Rubz) in a separate bowl.  Next, cover tilapia generously with mix and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.  Bake for about 25 min or until a nice golden brown color.  Serve with your choice of vegetables and rice.





Marinade Recipes



Charred Greek Chicken Wings


One of our most delectable recipes ever! In a bowl, coat fresh chicken wing drummettes with Cugino’s Lemon Mediterranean Marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes. Drain excess marinade and place on medium heated grill, turning often enough to char well but not burn. After pieces are all well cooked, place into a serving dish and pour a light coat of marinade and mix well. Serve hot and get’em while you can!
